ISLAMABAD: Former Senate chairman Mian Muhammad Soomro’s nephew, Malik Fahad, was killed and another injured in an armed clash between two groups over a dispute in Sector F-10 area of the federal capital.
The exchange of firing took place late night over a dispute when negotiations were underway to settle down the issue. Situation deteriorated and firing took place which claimed the life of Malik Fahad. The deceased and injured were shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The exchange of firing also took place at PIMS between the two groups once again. The body was handed over to the family of the victim after medico-legal formalities.
A compliant has been lodged and police have launched investigation into the incident.
