ISLAMABAD: Pakistan strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Iraq on Friday – resulting in heavy loss of lives and injuries.
“The government and people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people and government of Iraq over the loss of innocent lives. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families and we wish speedy recovery for the injured,” a Foreign Office statement said.
Pakistan stands in solidarity with the brotherly people of Iraq in this hour of grief, it further added. “Pakistan reiterates its strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the statement concluded.
