ISLAMABAD: A three-day anti-polio campaign to administer anti-polio drops to children up to 5 years in Punjab has been launched on Monday (today).
As per details, the campaign will target 10.8 million children in 36 districts of the province, a private TV channel reported. Hundreds of teams have been constituted for the campaign, while the strict security arrangements have been made.
The officials said that the polio teams would go door to door to administer the drops while fix points had also been established at all the government hospitals, airports, railway stations and other entry and exit points of cities.
The Punjab government was determined to give the province a healthy generation and therefore all out efforts were being made to provide healthcare facilities to the masses.
